1. Overview
FILOTRON Pro is sold through three channels — the Apple App Store, Google Play, and our payment provider Paddle — and each handles payments and refunds under its own standard process. Refund requests are therefore made through, and decided under the policy of, the channel you purchased from. This applies to monthly, annual and lifetime purchases alike.
Nothing in this policy affects the statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
2. Bought on iOS or macOS (Apple App Store)
Refunds are handled by Apple
Purchases made on iOS or macOS are processed by Apple, and refunds are granted under Apple’s standard refund policy. We are not able to issue App Store refunds directly.
- Request a refund: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and select the FILOTRON purchase.
- Cancel a subscription: on your device, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (iOS) or App Store → account → Subscriptions (macOS), select FILOTRON, and cancel.
3. Bought on Android (Google Play)
Refunds are handled by Google
Purchases made on Android are processed by Google Play, and refunds follow Google Play’s standard refund process and policies.
- Request a refund: via play.google.com (Order history) or Google Play support.
- Cancel a subscription: open the Google Play Store → Subscriptions, select FILOTRON, and cancel.
4. Bought on Windows or Linux (Paddle)
Refunds are handled via Paddle, our Merchant of Record
Purchases on Windows and Linux are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Refunds are handled under Paddle’s standard refund terms.
- Request a refund: email us at customers@cogentlogic.com with your Paddle order details, or reply to your Paddle receipt; Paddle can also be contacted directly via the support link on your receipt.
- Cancel a subscription: use the management link in your Paddle receipt/account, or contact us and we’ll help.
5. Cancelling vs. refunding
Cancelling an auto-renewing subscription stops future charges from the end of the current billing period; it does not, by itself, refund the period you are already in. Whether a refund is also available for the current period depends on the policy of the channel you bought from and on your statutory rights.
6. Lifetime purchases
The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase. Refund requests for a lifetime purchase are handled under the standard policy of the channel it was bought through (Apple, Google or Paddle), in the same way as any other purchase, together with any statutory rights that apply to you.
7. Need help?
If you’re not sure where you bought, or a channel’s process isn’t working for you, email customers@cogentlogic.com and we’ll point you in the right direction. See also our Terms of Service.
